Product type: Value card. PDF value card/gift card with a value of €75. When purchasing the gift card, the customer receives a separate message with the PDF gift card attached. The PDF gift card contains a QR code, text code, and other gift card information. The gift card code can be used at the point of sale or in the Johku checkout environment for one or more orders. This test gift card has no product group restrictions, meaning it can be used for all products in the store.
Settings
The background image, layout, and information for the PDF gift card are defined on the Templates tab of the Settings page.
Johku does not generate color elements on top of the background image, so if the background image is dark, use image editing to add a white/light area for the gift card code and other information layout, and only then import the image into Johku. The positioning of the QR code information is determined by the margins of the template, so pay attention to the placement of the white area on the background image.
The text entered in the Message field of the template will be included in the email as a message/cover letter. The actual gift card will be attached to the message.
The text entered in the Terms field of the template will appear on the gift card below the code. The Terms field is intended for short text, approximately one sentence in length.
There is no preview function for PDF gift cards, so for testing purposes, create a PDF gift card with a price of 0 and order the card for yourself through the administration so that you can make sure that everything is as you want it.
Please note that Johku gift cards and vouchers are only generated when the order is a) paid for or b) confirmed.
